Hello, my name is Melina. I was born and raised in San Jose, Ca. I moved to San Diego in 2001and have called this home ever since. I am a mother of three and work as a third grade teacher at High Tech Elementary Explorer.  In the summer months, I am a sewing instructor teaching kids and adults how to sew.  For fun, I enjoy camping, reading (mostly educational books), watching soccer, yoga, creating art with my daughter, going to rock concerts with my boys and playing with my golden doodle, Bowie.  I have worked in education for over 16 years and feel incredibly blessed to be doing meaningful work everyday.
